Nani Iro Banyan Collage

You may have noticed that there haven’t been any sewing posts on the blog lately. My sewing machine has been enjoying a bit of a rest during December but I’m very keen to get back to it after Christmas. Hopefully I’ll remember how to use it! In the meantime I’ve been gathering ideas and pinning up a storm of inspiring children’s clothes on my Pinterest boards.

Today I’m over here at The Village Haberdashery talking about the Banyan Tee pattern by Figgy’s and the Nani Iro knit fabric that I used to make Casper’s T-shirt. Annie just had the opening weekend of her bricks and mortar shop in West Hampstead in London, which will be fully open from January offering a fantastic selection of fabrics and classes too. If only it was nearer, sigh. Anyway, head on over here see what I think.

The design of the tee is really cute, I’m pretty sure my David would love it, have you posted a tutorial for this tee design? I would love to try it.

Hi, I’m so pleased you like it. The pattern for the tee is the Banyan tee by Figgy’s and the fabric already came with that design so no tutorial I’m afraid – it’s a Nani Iro knit called Element Collage in grey.
